This
is the 1998 version of the heavy assault rifle/light cannon line in the
first full lineup of CPS weapons. This new technology makes
the CPS 1000 superior to its predecesors like the SS 200, XP 150, and XXP
175. The CPS firing chamber gives one a burst of full power with
each shot down to the last, meaning you can pull the trigger as you please
and not worry about degrading power, making short bursts of semi auto fire,
or a full stream all at 100% power. The CPS 1000 looks alot like
the CPS 2000 of 1996 in terms of coloriing and design patterns. This
is commonly refered to like the M 16 - M4 analogy, yet the 1000 and 2000
have different roles. The high calibre bore of the single shot CPS
2000 delivers an extremely high powerfull blast, making it populer with
snipers. Yet the CPS 1000 delivers a 5x burst of water, giving you
the option of full blast or about 5 semi auto shots. The 5mm nozzle
has become more of a standard now days as larger weapons come out and weapons
like the CPS 1000 and CPS 1200 become the standard. Many grunts favour
the CPS 1000 for its overall abilities, the combination of heavy fire with
multiple shots, good range, and superior technology all rolled up in its
compact body. The CPS 1000 even though it came out over 4 years ago
still is a populer weapon. The extended firing rounds of the 1200,
nor the guided pump of the CPS 2100 have decreased the popularity of the
CPS 1000. Overall the CPS 1000 makes a wonderful weapon for grunts,
and snipers may find it populer because of its power and the fact you can
mount a scope on the carying handle.
Pros:
Heavy power and good range, wonderful compactness
Cons:
This gun isn't the best at conserving ammo |
