Tactical Terms, and Dictionary
Assault Cluster: a small squad of two or three people on one mission...
soak anything and everything
Bonzai style: a style in shich one person sacrifices their dryness for
the sake of their teams, by going on a rampage and soak anything withing
reach by charging and screaming, aka Kamikazi, or Berzerk
Brigade: The largest group on the battle field, usually of two-four squads,
and 8-15 people.
Frontal Assault: an en masse attack on the enemies' front in an attempt
to break through
Guerilla Warfare: A style of fighting in which a hit and run style, or
ambush style of fighting is used
Hit and Run: Attacking an enemy unit by surprise, or with quikness and
then retreating away hidden before the enemy can regroup or strike back
Intercepting: The act of meeting an enemy assault group before they get
to their assault destination, usually the intercepting squad is made up
of high power fast firing, but low soak guns such as the CPS 1-3-5, Speed
Loader 1500, or XXP 175
Kamikazi: one who fights bonzai style
Leapfrogging: Where one unit runs silently to a given point while being
covered by an ally, and then the ally runs to the point while the ally
covers, the continuation of this until a given point is reached.
Usually used by ranger and elite squads to get silently and awaringly behind
the enemy units.
Matrix style: Usually started with a stealthy aproach to the enemy, but
then attacking the enemy directly and soaking hostiles as much is possible,
while dodging as much as possible and always running, specifically incorporating
the circle of death manuever. Usually used by elite assault clusters
Outflank: To sideswipe, or attack an enemies flank(s) by getting around
them usually in ambush
Patrol: To gaurd or search a perticuler area by walking back and forth
over it. Also 1-3 people who "patrol" an area.
Retreat: To flee usually in panic away from the enemy in chaos
Strategically: Well thoughten out or planned
Squad: An organized group of 4-5 people used for a specific purpouse, can
be broken into two clusters, but usually the smallest form of group.
Also known as a company
Tactical Retreat: An organized for of retreat, sometimes used to lure the
enemy after you by making them think you are retreating, only to lead them
into a larger group or ambush
Vermin: Any general enemy, but usually pertaining to Red Scorpion's enemies,
and most specifically Team X
Zigzag: To meander swiftly to a given point. Usually employed to
get back to a base, fort, or outpost but not to make a direct route in
order to divert the enemy
